Friendship,a blessing treasure

Along with swing I go back and forth
To have none but you, is worth
Always there to push me on heights
Whenever my eyes blink
And taken aback of sunlight
A tear trickle down due to a sudden exposure
All of sudden a challenge, taking away my composure
I, almost ready to give my hopes up
But, I don't, because you're there to cheer me up
Whenever I look back , find you there
That doesn't mean you haven't moved a step ahead
Although you have to cover miles
Yet, you care about my tears and smiles
The world's most beautiful relation we share
Selfless dedication of love and care
A true friend like you is rare to get
Keeping it in heart I don't wanna regret
I wish it may remain sweet as ever
Let's together endeavor and savor
Friendship, a blessing treasure

Off Beat Yet Must Watch Bolloywood Movies

Blogadda is back, yet again with an interesting activity. And this time it sounds much more gripping to me, to a great movie freak! All thanks to my dad who suggested me the idea of watching movies and then self scrutinizing it rather to prefer watching movies after audience's assay or box office's hit because behind every film there is a story and has a message to be conveyed through it. There are subjects and issues in society that are important to think over and have nothing to do with the comedy and fancy but the sole reason of showcasing the reality. Such movies are made to reach to the audiences and to conjure their approach towards the ''can of worms'' but we turn thumbs down!
So, am going to list 5 Off- Beat Bollywood movies from those off- beats I've watched so far and recognize them to be a must watch and a worth watch.

Madras Cafe (2013) is about an Indian Intelligence agent( John Abraham) who get involved in a war in coastal island to break the group of obstinate rivals. He consciously makes tactics to make significant progress against them in midst 'don’t get caught’. There is a passionate journalist (Nargis Fakri) who aspires to convey the truth behind the civil war.
The story unfolds the truth hidden under the gloom of conspiracy united to seize a common nemesis- India.
The film was made under the direction of a great talent Shoojit Sircar , the director of box office's hit Vickey Donor released in 2012. I liked it because of the excellent direction and the sensitivity with which it deals with delicate issues. This is something worth watching.

Jalpari- After coming up with a gem of film I am Kalam, Nila Madhab Panda, came up with Jalpari- ''The Deserted Mermaid '' based on the burning issue of female infanticide. The story happens to take place in Madhogarh village, Mahendragarh in Haryana. One night Shreya discovers a couple who slink away. She sense something concealing and follow the couple secretly. She find something shocking in the end. They all kill the girl child before they are born and were scaring all the villagers at the name of a witch.
I liked the mature acting of child artists Lehar Khan, Krishang Trivedi and Hrash Mayar who brought up this bitter reality with innocence that touches heart.

Dekh Indian Circus- The film provides an entertaining metaphor for rural India's struggle. Kajro (Tannishtha Chatterjee) and Jethu (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) put their best efforts to accomplish the dream of getting their children educated. Kajro being a strong mother inculcates great values in her children while Jethu is a mute patriarch who suffers alone silently.Set on barren lands of Rajasthan.  the storyline progresses about the daily trials and tribulations of this family and at a larger level depicts the aspirations of rural India.Be a part of this cinematic journey which shows a circus at every nook and corner of living and existence. I liked this movie because of the naturalism of the characters, assent, and living. Also it has powerful dialogues that will surly make you think over.

Chittagong- It's an Indian historical war drama film. Chittagong is the story of a diffident 14 year old boy, Jhunku (Delzad Hiwale). Swept up into this seemingly impossible mission, the reluctant teenager battles with his own self-doubts to achieve an improbable triumph.Set against the backdrop of a little known saga in 1930s British Colonial India (now Bangladesh) - where a group of schoolboys and young women, led by a schoolteacher, Masterda Surya Sen (Manoj Bajpai) dared to take on the Empire.
The music of the film composed by Shankar Ehsan Loy is superb! The film is excellently directed, produced and written by Bedabrata Pain. Manoj's excellent performance won my heart. It would be an interesting watch for you as well :-)

Do Dooni Chaar-  Produced by Habib Faisal and produced by Arindum Chaudhuri.  The film deals with the issue of underpaid teachers, and their issue with their self-worth in the face of growing inflation and demands of their family. The middle-class school teacher, who works overtime to support his income and to send his children to good schools, ends up in a moral dilemma, when it comes to fulfilling the needs of his ever unsatisfied teenage children. "The common question the teacher asks when he looks at his student, who is just 25 and owns a car, is why at 55 he is still riding a scooter In the end, it is not just the teacher who redeems himself by not succumbing to taking bribes, but also his children who begin to see him in the true light and importance of being a teacher and an honest citizen.
It's one of the best movies I've watched so far. It speaks about the middle class families, their dreams and their helpless approach to make them true in our contemporary society.
Where Rishi Kapor and Nitu Singh decorate the screen with their appearance there Archit Krishna and Aditi Vasudev too gave a commendable performance.

Though these movies couldn't hit the Box Office's success and couldn't make any better acclaim for themselves yet they have a lot to attach us with.

I also wish you to watch this lovely trailer. Miss Lovely, an off-beat film directed by Ashim Ahluwalia is set in the lower depths of Bombay’s “C” grade film industry. It follows the devastating story of two brothers who produce sex horror films in the mid – 1980s. A sordid tale of betrayal and doomed love, the film dives into the lower depths of the Bollywood underground, an audacious cinema with baroque cinemascope compositions, lurid art direction, wild background soundtracks, and gut-wrenching melodrama. Miss Lovely is scheduled for commercial release on 17 January 2014.

Edition: December 2013
Language: English
ISBN- 9789380914756

About the Author and Book:
After the huge success of India's most loved story book Uff Ye Emotions by Vinit K. Bansal it is back with the sequel Uff Ye Emotions 2 that anthologize of eleven finest stories from hundreds of stories. Each of it speaks of life, reality, relations and most importantly those strong emotions that win over us again and again. While reading it you will realize a different kind of attachment with it. They relate me, you and everyone out there having a similar story hidden inside, unsaid yet back inside in memories. The cover page of the book is attractive enough to hold one's attention and then those engrossing stories one after another will urge to grab it. All the stories are well written but here are my favorite picks:

Story‘’The Client’’ by Vinit K. Bansal is based on a real incident, the commencing tale of the book makes up a special distinct place. He has adroitly exposed the hidden dark lives surviving behind the fascinating glamour and glitter of the city- Mumbai where despite of the crowd everyone is helplessly alone. The story revolves around a young and beautiful girl, Riva , who is a prostitute and a rich businessman, Chandrakant Malhotra who is her client. In her entire profession she hadn't dealt with a client like him. Chandrakant used to call her often to spend the night with her. Not to get intimate with her but to get an accompany that mostly carried in silence. There are reasons behind Chandrakant’s action. When he give Riva an opportunity to set her free from the dirt, helplessness and uncouth tease but she couldn't. Sometimes we have ways to proceed to something better but we just can’t. Things aren't that easy as they seem to be! And most of the times, it’s we makes it a complicated one.

‘’The Woman Who Waited’’ by Shalini Katyal, is a beautiful heartfelt story showcasing true and dedicated love of Madhumita and Ashish. First they become friends and soon by the flying time spent with each other their friendship turns into a passionate true love. All of sudden, one day Ashish says that he is no more interested in Madhumita because that was nothing but an infatuation. This left her broken and confused. The reason he gave wasn't enough for her to believe because she had seen the real spark of love in Ashish’s eyes. She kept on waiting for him, the only reason she was living was him, she tried to move on in life but she couldn't! Those unanswered questions stifled her everyday. When the reality strikes to her after a coon’s age she gets each of her questions’ answer but still she couldn't have Ashish but there she finds another reason to live her life ‘’their love and the promise. ‘’

''120 Minutes'' by Saravana Kumar Murugan is an exceptional string of crux emotions. The incident takes place in the city in Germany. Suddenly due to the bad weather conditions high sign is given to people immediately to rush to a safer place. Sid, who is a software engineer summarizes his life in twelve words ''in right and left click, they live a life without any life'' has to reach to his home where his beloved wife Isha is waiting. But as we know what ''Man desires, God deny’’. Similar happens with Sid. During those 120 Minutes he realizes the inch of difference he was lying in the midmost of Life and Death. Despite of the counter situations he combats to unabridged the promise he had made to his wife. Taking place of incidents one after another makes the read intriguing. It's something like you would eagerly read lines to know what happens the next!

‘’Hickey’’ by Heema Shirvaikar is a thoughtful and a well composed story that euphemism the pangs of present society. The story targets to aware the people especially women to defy at once if they are getting tortured or harassed mentally and physical. They need not bear the tyrant around them instead they should come forward to censure against it. Her appealing story written with much deliberation and innocence escalates this message in a more emphasized manner.

’Love and Sacrifices’’ by Meghant Parmar and Heena Ahuja, beautifully frames that love and sacrifices are closely intertwined. Clark Lane, a Scottish man, who come to India for the trade purpose. He fall in love with Radhika Patel, daughter of the richest and one of the most powerful businessmen of Porbandar, Jignesh Patel. Both of them get married secretly. Jignesh Patel was against their marriage so he turned up brutally to kill the Scottish man, Clark. There is a famous saying, ‘’ If you're determined for something with a true heart, the entire universe tends to help you in’’
‘’Humanity is bigger than blood relations’’ is described with utmost sensitivity. The story is written in such an intriguing way that it would take you deep into it. Also the beautiful poetry  in the starting and in ending will leave you mesmerized.

My Views:
Since each of its stories has been written by a different writer so at no point you would feel that the read getting monotonous. Each of it has a different expression and approach to put their ideas before the readers. So if you are aspiring to read multi-genre of stories I would suggest 'Uff Ye Emotions 2' to be the best book to go for. I would rate it 4/5

The Night after the storm

Long ago, an efflorescence of life was plank down on earth
Since then, mankind came into the existence casting birth
A cycle that goes on and on with the promise of cooperation
Connects we children to our mother earth with intense adoration

As the time changed, people changed and so with them have 'relations'
The gap contriving in between, both generations fails to built a space for rendition
The promising link between the two seems adversely decrepit near to separation
It's we, who initiated the route of disguise with the rush of our own greed
Too easy for us to let go things, far too insensitive to mother earth's selfless deed

There is always a limit of everything beyond which the elasticity turns into plasticity
The elasticity of earth was till we were its tenants but soon that turned differently
When we, the so called care takers of earth started to adhere its authority
A child can not be the mother of his own mother that is the restraint reality
And thus, a step beyond once taken can not be recover

And finally, like a relationship based on compromises don't go longer
The selfless beauty of love bond and the notion of giving and receiving were snapped
Time is the mightiest among all and when it associates with nature makes a deadly combination
Both shows the dual phase of loftiness and kindness, capricious
We can't make them run behind us in a long run rather we will be abandon

We took the steps unknowingly, knowingly of the consequences
The another phase of the nature confronted, this time wild and merciless
A wave of destruction once flowed followed by massacre and loss
A storm broke out of earth's flasks which proved earth as undefeated
The strokes it lash hard over the rival made it hard for the man's survival

The storm carried away everything along with it
The night after the storm relinquish into gloom, pathetic
Beauty in abundance is now getting deficit
Lives struggling to reconcile Life
It's never too late to correct oneself
Need is, think twice act wise
