Save the Mother Earth

Earth is calling!
But are we listening?

Earth, the sole planet that renders the most intelligent and the wisest of creature - Human. To think is the first step to bring a change. To implement over those thoughts is the second step and continuing to implement is the third step that leads to progress. Over the years we have made a remarkable headway in various fields of science and technology. Everyday we are moving a step further and living a better lifestyle. We are leading such a life where everything is just a thought away! As soon as you think and the next moment you have it. Exchange of instant messages over the globe, online shopping stores, smartphones; almost everything is digital. It's our intelligence and constant efforts that paved our way towards the success. And thus, we are progressing.

But are we acting wise? No! We are simply fooling ourselves. An intelligence with no wisdom is useless. In the poem ''Keeping Quite'' Pablo Neruda has asked a thought provoking question.
''Those who prepare green wars,
wars with gas, wars with fire,

victory with no survivors''
- Pablo Neruda

Towards what progress we are heading that would leave no survivors to victim the glory? Imagine, when there will be no drop of drinking water left, no green trees around to provide shed in scorching heat of sunlight, no fresh air, no flowers and no birds. Where will you go to attain peace? And how long will you live breathing poison in air? According to the recent surveys, if we still continue to ignore Earth's Call then, within hundred years there will be no rain-forests. What are we preserving for future generations? They will appreciate us for nothing but greed; a greed that left nothing! I always do analogy between the nature and people. Here is a poem I had written an year ago.
Long ago, an efflorescence of life was plank down on earth
Since then, mankind came into the existence casting birth
A cycle that goes on and on with the promise of cooperation
Connects we children to our mother earth with intense adoration

As the time changed, people changed and so with them have 'relations'
The gap contriving in between, both generations fails to built a space for rendition
The promising link between the two seems adversely decrepit near to separation
It's we, who initiated the route of disguise with the rush of our own greed
Too easy for us to let go things, far too insensitive to mother earth's selfless deed

There is always a limit of everything beyond which the elasticity turns into plasticity
The elasticity of earth was till we were its tenants but soon that turned differently
When we, the so called care takers of earth started to adhere its authority
A child can not be the mother of his own mother that is the restraint reality
And thus, a step beyond once taken can not be recover

And finally, like a relationship based on compromises don't go longer
The selfless beauty of love bond and the notion of giving and receiving were snapped
Time is the mightiest among all and when it associates with nature makes a deadly combination
Both shows the dual phase of loftiness and kindness, capricious
We can't make them run behind us in a long run rather we will be abandon

We took the steps unknowingly, knowingly of the consequences
The another phase of the nature confronted, this time wild and merciless
A wave of destruction once flowed followed by massacre and loss
A storm broke out of earth's flasks which proved earth as undefeated
The strokes it lash hard over the rival made it hard for the man's survival

The storm carried away everything along with it
The night after the storm relinquish into gloom, pathetic
Beauty in abundance is now getting deficit
Lives struggling to reconcile Life
It's never too late to correct oneself
Need is, think twice act wise

So, how can we respond to Earth's Call?
There is always a notion of ''giving and receiving''. Our mother earth bestowing us with endless endowments asks for nothing but a bit of love and care. We need to make judicious plan on how to use and in what proportion. Also, there is an important need that we respect and accept earth as our mother because if we would have accepted it in past we had have heard even slightest of its hush that has now turned into an urgent call. It's high time to get united and resolve to save our Mother.

* Plant more trees and spread greenery.
* Stop using plastic bags. Instead use paper bags.
* Save water. Do not leave the tap open after the use.
* Do not litter. Use dustbins.
* Save energy. Switch off the lights and disconnect electronic devices after use.
* Do not dump waste in rivers and lakes.
* Try to avoid using vehicle to reach nearby places. Do walk, it will keep you fit and will      help to save petrol.
* Water plants time to time.
* Do not turn ON lights during the daytime. Work in daylight as long as possible.
* Use LED bulbs. It consumes less energy.
* Use least pesticides on agricultural lands.
* If you find anyone polluting the environment and wasting our natural resources then          immediately stop him/her. But the change must begin from you.
 * Make people around you aware about an urgent need to preserve our resources and its      consequences if taken lightly.

To think is the first step to bring a change. We have started thinking!
To implement over those thoughts is the second the step. Now it's time to implement.
And continuing to implement is the third step that leads to progress. I hope, we will definitely come out with flying colors.

the demons watched them
and reverberated evil
fathom love-love

she wanted to be...
something more than a princess
so did a murder

over the rusty pages
she moved her fingers gently
to touch him

her hair locks turn grey
she stairs at the ceiling still
lost in reverie

That was just a meet,
His smile and hearty greet,
Together with his humorous talks and a little walk,
Once again opened my heart's lock!
The peacefulness within me turned to perky,
Darkness within was now replace by lucidity,
His presence broke the emptiness with the ample of care and love..
I believe now time changes everything
As it changed the strings of my heart
from a woeful ballad to beautiful tunes,
He never left me alone in my thoughts!
But do really was he still walking along with me?
While an instant loiter glance
my lingering steps stepped off pebble with a jerk!
And I razed in his protective arms,
But that was a road
where I fell down helplessly...
He was no where now,
I was left there so lonely with turmoil thoughts...
That was the moment I realized
that he was in my imagination!
His last word ''Adieu'' echoed
in my ears again and again,
A tear trickled down from my eyes
as I gazed up at twinkling sky...
Mesmerizing memories that were still alive
and fresh as it happened yesterday!

among twinkling stars
a divine aura shines bright
and evade the darkness

Lost colors

There is all around a deep silence
My heart and mind are at it violence
I lackluster and yet I feel laying back
My own thoughts are hacked
Life is out of colors; it is black!!

It had never been like this before
Euphoria of being alive was pure
With my smile I colored fade
I was an angel for all without wings
But hinge of life the way it swing

Everything was perfect and sweet
With him my life was complete
I, his zephyr and He my heartbeat
Without him life refuse to replete
Let me loiter for I've lost my fleet

How can life be this cruel ?
It asks me go on snapping my fuel
The whole world drenched in color
Except my own world inside so blur
Life does not stop with someone's depart
But part left can't be filled it remain stark

My heart sink at thinking of all that again

There is all around a deep silence
My heart and mind are at it violence
I lackluster and yet I feel laying back
My own thoughts are hacked
Life is out of colors; it is black!!
Lost colors!

ASUS - My Choice

With this swift paced life who does not wants to be fast and smart. Advancement in technology has endowed us with possibilities which seem to be infinite. In today's time when gadgets are as important as clothes to us. ''Betterment and change'' are the keys that we have accepted to follow lately. The Indian market is no exception to it. With the launch of smart phones that we think define our smartness, the craziness seems no bound.

Well, if smart phones exemplify our personality then it's quite logical to have people being fussy regarding it. The market is full with new stocks of stylish and costly smart phones but for a buyer it is challenging to buy that satisfies him with the features at an affordable price.

Being a gadget freak whose list is topped by phones I look for features which are latest and extraordinary. Not to forget it should be affordable too. The new sensation about to hit the market is
Asus Zenfone 2

I am going to share five reasons for choosing Asus Zenfone 2 and how it will redefine my smart phone experience.

1. Strong Battery Backup: Before buying a phone my first preference is battery backup which has failed me till late. But Asus is indeed an exception case having battery 3000mAh lithium- polymer with fast charge technology. Yes! it has capability of charging up to 60% in just 39 minutes. How cool is that! Isn’t it?

2. Awesome Camera: Being a photography enthusiast I look for a mobile with a decent camera which could capture sharp and clear photos. Asus with PixelMaster camera captures stunning, high resolution photos. It has 13 MP rear camera, auto focus lens with dual color Real Tone flash. It has front camera of 5MP and that is enough for me take my beautiful selfie.

3. Display: Phone being handy I usually carry it everywhere. During travel hours when I am free I prefer watching YouTube videos, reading news online and playing games. The 5.5 inch IPS display with full HD resolution makes it all worthwhile. The big-screen adds a much needed pleasure while reading.

Smart Storage:
I am crazy about apps and thus my phone is usually over-loaded with different apps, photos and videos. It worries me when my phone gets slow and hangs. Asus Zenfone 2 is the world's first smart phone with 4GB RAM and that deserve a big 'Wow!' from me.

5. Processor, connectivity and Software: It has 64-bit Quad Core Intel processor. It has a wide range of connectivity that includes NFC, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. As we all know it's time for 4G so, it's kind of happy news that Ausus Zenfone 2 has 3G, 4G LTE. The latest software it has i.e., Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Asus Zenfone 2 brings all these features at a very reasonable price and thus I choose it happily to redefine my smart phone experience.

The moment I listened my Heart to touch someone's Heart

An intense upsurge of emotions
When there is no pretense, it's deep like an ocean
Every feeling has a different feel
Right from grievances to extreme zeal
Have various shades of dark and bright
Hard to control over when reaches to its height
They maybe soft or maybe hard
Flickers like a shuffle playing cards
Some of them never get change
They never get out of range
No matter how long it had been
Or have become a past
But it's there secure and ever last

These are the few lines from my poetry written long back. Feelings are best when shared but most of the times we fail to express it to our loved ones. How would one know if you care for him/her unless you express it? Then come 'words'; if one is not comfortable to speak directly then he chooses to write or gift something that epitomizes those unsaid feelings. It's important to listen your heart and follow, for it always guides you right. Today I will share my #DilKiDeal moment, when I listened and followed my heart subduing second thoughts.

Friends are something I cherish the most in my life. Once I become friends with someone, I don't leave them half a way. Blogging has blessed me with so many wonderful gems but there is one friend most special to me. He has been there for me right from my initial days of blogging. He helps me when I expect and when I don't. He encourages me when I wish for a much needed push. He does care if things and my life are going good apart from writing. He promise and never let that break. He understands and respects my views. He never underestimates or imposes his ideas on me. He is a true friend and together we share a selfless bond. Sarav and I. He fondly calls me Little One and so he is my Special One. With each day our bond of amity is getting stronger. Recently we co-authored a story for an anthology and now we are working as a team on a review website.

Despite of his busy schedule he manages time to discuss things with me, almost everyday. It means a lot. It was through his blog which seemed to be the best with poems, stories and blog design I came to know about SiS. It all started in 2011 around May or June when through a group on Facebook 'Bloggers by Passion' we interacted for the first time. He invited me and other two friends to write a guest post for his 100th post and then, a beautiful journey began.

Birthday is a one special day in the entire year which you feel belongs to you. You expect the day to be full of surprises, wishes, blessings and love. In my mind I had decided already that I will make him surprised. Maybe a gift! Was the first idea came in mind but no. He was in London then. The next thought was... a sketch of him. The very idea excited me to imagine, it would break the ice if I manage to do it well. I selected one of his photos to sketch. The planning was done well but by the time his birthday was near I was caught up with typhoid. The illness, weakness, ache in stomach, recurring uneven fever; I felt like dropping that idea but somewhere deep in heart I strongly wanted to do something special for him, something that he would cherish forever. I followed my intuition and started working on it. Despite the fact I am not good at sketching and especially sketching a human face that I hadn't done before, I took out a drawing sheet, pencil, and eraser. It took me three days to complete it to the satisfaction. My excitement seemed no bound. And finally March 28th, 2012, his birthday came!

I wrote a post acknowledging his art of writing along with the sketch.

And to this, his reply was,

''I'm deeply touched by your post, sketch and wishes Siman.. *Happy Tears* ~ My Hearty thanks to you, your family and to my grandma.. Smiles..

I've no words to say about the post or the way you surprised me.. Really, I've no words and I donno how to thank you. ''

In this serene rain

No matter how much the things go wrong to me
No matter how depress I feel or lost
A touch of cool wind I perceive in silence
Ventilate my heart accumulated with
Uncountable worries & unexplained feelings
I close my eyes as to feel each and every drop of
This serene rain, my own spiritual believe
That touches me; the feeling of lost evades in silence
No more solitary, Nature accompanies me to consort
And that too with ''Loyalty''.

And We Remained by Asad Ali Junaid

And We Remained
Asad Ali Junaid

The Blurb
It is Bangalore in the late 1990’s. There are tremendous socio-economic and cultural transformations taking place as a result of liberalization. How would these changes impact a group of friends in their late teens? How would they cope, find opportunities and what of their original identities would they be left with, after western ideologies are brought in and bombarded into their awareness by cable TV and new media?

Told through emails and first person account of events, And We Remained is a light and entertaining read of these friends as they experience love, heartbreak, prison, politics, drunken binges, strip clubs, sexcapades, US and Europe during their journey into adulthood
