I live...

From my mother's womb
to entering into this sphere
The journey had been exciting
my bubble curiosity ruled in the air

Love and praises were showered
Temptation never seemed a struggle
I played, read, ate and slept
Life was smooth and nothing to trouble

The mighty time changes everything
And so, it didn't spare my life
Simply living it anyway is not enough
A reason must be there, I strife

I live... to appreciate beautiful life
despite the complexities it offers
I live... to fulfill all my dreams
that I watch every day and night
I live... because I am hopeful
that tomorrow will be better
I live... to spread happiness
as life is too short to be sad
I live... to read, write and learn
because my knowledge is mine
I live... not to change the world
but to change myself
I live... to give my existence a reason
that this world would appreciate

Giving up marks an end of possibilities while there could have been a victory at the next step if one would had a courage to stay strong and face the challenges. Try again...again...again and success will be yours :)

''Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.'' - Rumi

I greatly follow Rumi's sayings and one of them is, the one I have shared above. His thoughts come from deep roots of various emotions- Hope, happiness, sorrow, helplessness and admiration. Dad and I often debate on doing things based on 'what I love' and 'what I don't love but do it anyway'. I always take my heart's call for things I really like and I rebel. My parents were worried because of my interest in literature over Science and they were against to let me opt it for my higher studies. I had a tough time convincing my parents 'but the strange pull of what I really love' didn't let me lose heart and hope. I am happy that I am actually implementing over it. And I am sure, it will never lead me astray.

Rain rejoice

This post has been published by me as a part of Blog-a-Ton 55; the fifty-fifth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. In association with Rashmi Kumar, the author of Hooked, Lined and Single and Jyoti Arora, the author of Lemon Girl. .

"There is something special about rains. When trees dance, flowers smile rejoicing and the stirring fragrant brew up; I feel a new self. As if nature has framed up a mirror for me to look at and reciprocate in the same way." Said Snigdha and ran towards the garden to meet the season's first shower.

Anand was mesmerized to see rains from a new perspective. In the chaos of life, earning hard and gathering luxuries he hardly ever noticed the joy of little things, the joy of letting go everything for a moment. Resting his left shoulder on the door he stood there motionless in admiration of Snigdha's carefree smile, those brown innocent eyes and tempting rose bud like moist lips. She had never looked this beautiful before.

"Anand, you are missing out life. Come and live it." She said with new enthusiasm.
Snigdha's words sounded like an ardent call. He ran smiling with his arms open. He closed his eyes and raised his head to feel the raindrops. He felt nourished. It was like, the drops of rain were washing away all his pain, long years of tiredness, guilt and grudges. Those grudges of not expressing his love for Snigdha, for the person she was and the place she had in his life.

" I feel, I have fallen for you, Snigdha", fumbled Anand.

Snigdha was awestruck to finally hear those words from Anand she had heard over thousands of times in her imagination. She couldn't believe her longing was finally coming true.
"Your silence is killing me. Say something, please. " A drop of tear escaped from the corner of her eye. She embraced him tightly as if to never let him go. "Buddhu, why did you take it so long to say this?"

"Because, today I realized "my life"... you and a beautiful journey waiting for us with more of love and rains." Said Anand kissing on her forehead.

Smile with VICCO

In today's time when life runs at lightning speed with deadlines, stress, increasing pollution and unhealthy lifestyle; to have a beautiful and flawless skin seems near to impossibility. Females are extremely obsessed with beauty of their faces and hence, they are easily influenced by different creams, lotions, face packs, etc. without having a proper knowledge of the side-effects they may cause after some time. I have heard from many of my aunts complaining about allergies, itching and burning sensation they experienced after use.

I have an oily skin type and being a teenager I easily get pimples on my forehead, cheeks and sometimes on nose. It's embarrassing at times while attending social events. The only times I avoid getting clicked. Having pimples, blemishes and blackheads surly affects self-confidence. After all our outlook creates the first impression. During my school days I used to cycle the distance right under the bright sun of scorching summer days. Whoever met, the first reaction used to be, ''Oh Gosh! What’s wrong with your skin? Haven't you consulted to a doctor? With frequent appearance and disappearance of pimples I noticed when it were my holidays and less exposure to sun, my pimples subsided fast and were less painful.

So finally, my worried mom took me to a Dermatologist. The Dermatologist told me that it is common mostly among the teenagers because of the hormonal changes. And sunlight being an allergic to my skin made it worse causing cystic acne. She explained, an oily skin is more prone to dust and cause infections. Reading my frown expressions she smiled and told there are some effective ways to overcome this problem and I can get back to my glowing spotless skin. She prescribed me some blood purifier tonics, to drink at least 7-8 glasses of water every day, chew neem leaves, to avoid oily and sweet food items. And lastly she handed me VICCO turmeric cream.

VICCO turmeric cream is an ayurvedic medicinal cream with turmeric and sandalwood as main ingredients that produce cooling effect. It rejuvenates skin from within and vanishes boils, acne, blackheads, blemishes and pimples.

I received a good response after using it continuously for a month. It made my skin look fairer and more glowing than before. My pimples started to subside and I got much relief from cystic acne as well. My confidence level increased and now I welcome all the social events and gatherings with open arms and a broad smile on my face. I don’t avoid being clicked anymore, hiding terrible looks. Now, when I meet people they praise me for my healthy skin and seek tips. I proudly introduce them with VICCO Turmeric cream, the ultimate solution to all skin problems.

Here is a video clip. Must watch!

Wordle#2 Blessing in Disguise

We are destined like this
She whispered in his ears
To console her younger brother
She wiped his ceaseless tears

Their daily chores start with
washing dishes and ferry bricks
Under the sunlight among silent whines
There is a dream lying, close to kick

There is a strange rhyme he listen
In those green paddy fields
None but of his heart
 To learn and read

How difficult it is to give up
On dreams and forget ''to wish''
Engraving notes on the bare land
He don't want to see their fate wicked

We will read no matter what
She said hugging him tight
Perhaps, the courage
out of hard times was
a blessing in disguise

A bunch of sunflowers
He bought for her yesterday
Bright and beautiful
Same as the sun radiance
Of vitality and pristine
He would bring them daily
he said with an enduring smile
Replace them before these flowers wilt
Our love shall shine bright with no regret or guilt
